(https://cricketcult.com/news/Deepak-Chahar-gives-an-update-on-his-fitness-ahead-of-the/cid7881978.htm ). Deepak Chahar ruled himself out of the England tour. He had cited West Indies as a possible chance to make a comeback. Chahar wants to get himself in shape for the upcoming world T20 later this year in Australia. Chahar hasn’t been playing since suffering an injury against West Indies during the T20 series early this year. The 29 year old happened to miss the IPL for his side CSK who had picked him for a whopping 14 crores.

Chahar’s imminent comeback into the team will be a huge boost for India and Rohit Sharma. Chahar is a potent player with the new ball, as he can swing and seam it at a good pace. Chahar is also a good lower order batsman and can contribute useful runs as evident with his 2 ODI half centuries.
