It was a happy Tuesday for the Men in Blue as they won the 3rd T20 against South Africa by 48 runs. This keeps the series and the chance for men in blue to make it all square when the two teams face off again at Rajkot. India, reached 179 on the board thanks to the start from Gaikwad and Kishan who added 97. The two Indian openers seemed intent on putting the team on track for a big score and win the game for the country, and did that on Tuesday.

Kishan and Shami in war of words –

Ishan Kishan has been in tremendous form for India in the shortest format of the game. His struggles in the IPL seem to be a thing of the past as he has been amongst the runs in the current series. On Tuesday, Ishan Kishan was in elements with the bat as he scored yet another 50. The entire incident began, when Kishan first his Shamsi for a 4 off a switch hit. The next time Shamsi bowled a full toss and Kishan missed the ball and the South African was seen saying something to Kishan. The 23 year old was quick to respond and there was war of words.

Ishan Kishan in form for India –

India who had rested Rohit Sharma for the 5 match series, lost KL Rahul just 24 hours before the start of the series. This meant that the men in blue had a new opening pair in Gaikwad and Kishan. Both the players played with intent with Kishan first playing the sheet anchor to Gaikwad. Once the 25 year old Gaikwad fell, Kishan took over the scoring and went after the South African bowlers. Kishan scored 54 off 35 balls to help India reach a massive 179 on the board. Kishan has scored 340 runs this year so far for India in the T20 format. Against South Africa, he has 164 runs with 2 half centuries and has scored at a strike rate of over 150 on each occasion.
