Team India and its fans are waiting for the blockbuster Asia Cup 2022 to begin as the tasty and fiery encounter against Pakistan opens the Indian campaign. KL Rahul meanwhile is leading the Indian team in a 3 match ODI series against Zimbabwe. The first match was played at the Harare Sports Complex on Thursday 18th August,2022. The next two ODI games will be played on Saturday 20th and Monday 22nd before KL Rahul and others fly down to UAE for the prestigious Asia Cup.

YouTube is witnessing an interesting chat that KL Rahul was seen having with a young fan. Rahul who is the captain of the side was seen making his way to the ground along with Ishan Kishan. The grounds man was seen having a word with Rahul as a young fan was spotted just beyond the boundary boards. The young man had the ground staff click his picture with both Rahul and Kishan. The Indian skipper asked the young fan if he is going to come and watch the Indian team in action against Zimbabwe during the 1st ODI. The fan in question replied in Hindi and said “Aayenge school gaya Bhaad Main”
Indian bowlers limit Zimbabwe to 189 –
India won the toss and decided to bowl first as Deepak Chahar made his return to the side. It was the 30 year old swing bowler who struck with the ball early when he had both the openers. Innocent Kaia was the first to go caught behind by Samson for 4, followed by Marumani who was caught by Samson off Chahar for 8. Madhevere became Chahar’s 3rd wicket when he was out LBW for 5. Prasidh Krishna and Axar Patel picked 3 wickets each while Siraj got the wicket of Sean Williams to bowl out the home team for 189. Chakabva with 35 was the top scorer for Zimbabwe, while Brad Evans with 33 and Ngarva with 34 were the other decent contributors for the home team.
