It is exciting times for Indian and Pakistani cricket fans with the 2022 T20 world cup clash just 15 days away. The excitement is hitting fever pitch with each passing day. The battle between the Indian batters and Pakistani bowlers is one of the most keenly anticipated battles. The eyes of the fans will on a player each from either side of the border. The players in question are Surya Kumar Yadav and Pakistani wicket keeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan. 

The story so far - 

Mohammad Rizwan over the last year or so has become one of the most consistent batters in T20 cricket. Rizwan is one of the most in-form batters In T20 cricket. Along with Babar Azam, the wicket keeper is the main batter at the top of the order. Rizwan has been in good form with the bat in recent times despite the criticism over his strike rate in recent times. 

Surya Kumar Yadav after some blistering years with the bat for Mumbai Indians soon found his way to the Indian cricket team. In just a year and a half he has become one of the top rated batters in this format of the game. Yadav during the tour of England scored a century and has been in blistering form with the bat. 

Rizwan speaks about his battle with SKY - 

Surya Kumar Yadav recently held the world number one T20 batter tag for few days before losing it . Mohammad Rizwan is in New Zealand to play T20 tri series' which also includes Bangladesh. Rizwan scored yet another half century In the 21 run win over Bangladesh. During the media interaction he was asked about his battle with SKY. 

Rizwan speaking to the media said "Good player hain Suryakumar Yadav. Jis tarah se woh khelte hain, mujhe bohot pasand he. Magar jaha tak cheezen he and different tarike se dekha jae kyunki middle order and top order mukhtalif cheezen hain. Kabhi No.1 ke liye socha nahi hain jo demand he Pakistan ki woh pura karne ki koshish kar raha hu. No.1 or Man of the Match, aise kuch cheeze hain jo negative main le jati hain. Par main sochta nehi hu,”

Surya Kumar Yadav will next be seen playing for India in the 2022 T20 World Cup. This is the first time Surya Kumar Yadav is playing in Australia. SKY recently scored a scorching 69 off 35 balls at Hyderabad against Australia to help India win the 3 match series by a margin of 2-1. SKY did play the 2021 T20 World Cup but his performance with the bat wasn't up to the standarda he would have set for himself. Since the end of last World Cup, SKY has been in terrific form with the bat either side of his injury.
