The first test between Australia and Sri Lanka is surely headed for a result after the Australian team have taken a 101 run lead at the end of day two. Usman Khawaja gave the visitors a great start, before Alex Carey and Cameron Green continued the good work. At the end of the day it was captain Pat Cummins who lit up the day with his amazing breezy unbeaten knock.

Last ball of the day and Pat Cummins sends the ball to the road –

Right from the start of the innings, Australia had batted with a lot of intent and scored at 4 runs per over. The last over of the day was bowled by Vandersay and captain Cummins was on strike. The leg spinner floated one outside off and Cummins bent down on his knees slog swept it for a six. It wasn’t just a six but a huge one as it went out of the ground and rolled onto the road outside the Galle Stadium. Cummins was not out on 26 off 16 balls with a four and 3 sixes.
