India outclassed the West Indian team during the recent 3 match ODI series and 5 match T20 series. India beat West Indies by a 3-0 margin during the ODI series under Shikhar Dhawan. The men in blue later came out and won the T20 series 4-1 under Rohit Sharma to make themselves one of the most viable and potent threats for the T20 World Cup to be played in October in Australia. One of the names to have made a name for himself during the Caribbean sojourn is none other than Sanju Samson. The 27 year old from Kerala impressed the fans and showed his class and talent not only with the bat but also with the wicket keeping gloves.

Ever since he first made an impression on the minds of the fans, Sanju Samson has been one of the most watched and loved players. Many experts have labelled his batting as sikly and pleasing to watch with the bat. Sanju Samson who made his India debut in 2015 during the tour of Zimbabwe had to wait a long time before making a comeback to the Indian side. 

Making an impressions with the bat and making a fan base - 

Sanju Samson played a key role when he scored his first ODI 50 for India during the 2nd ODI at Port of Spain. This helped India to not only win the game but also take the series thanks to a late quick assualt by Axar Patel. Post the end of the T20 series at Florida, Samson was seen getting a lot of love from the fans. Samson was seen getting cheered by the crowd. The 27 year old was taking a lap of honor with the rest of the Indian team and the crowd began cheering and chanting his name, the 27 year old stopped and took time to acknowledge the crowd. Sanju Samson had a good year in the IPL when he led his Rajasthan Royals side to the finals before losing to Gujarat Titans led by Hardik Pandya. Samson will be next seen in the blues of India during the 3 match ODI series against Zimbabwe, the same team against whom he made his International debut 7 years ago.
