Watch! Siraj celebrates wildly as Joe Root falls and the Indians fans react

India and England are doing battle on the 5th day with a lot on the line and riding on the rescheduled test. For England, they are defending a 15 year result of not losing to India at home. The last 3 visits in 2011, 2014 and 2018 has seen the English team dominate India. For the Indian side though, it is a chance to win a rare series in England which was last done under Rahul Dravid when he was the captain in the 2007 tour of England. 

India gets the big one โ€“

England have adopted a new strategy called the BAZ- BALL. the method to attack under new coach McCullum. India have been so far successful in negating that. Joe Root has been the man in form and looked good on his way to 31. Siraj bowling just his 2nd over got one to bounce and Root tried to cut it. He got an edge to wicket keeper Pant and the Indian team and its fans celebrated wildly.

Day to remember for Bumrah โ€“

Saturday was a day to remember for Indian captain Bumrah as he smacked 29 runs off his bat in a 35 run over from Broad. This was a world record in test cricket over taking the 28 by Brian Lara of Robin Peterson 19 years ago. The Indian captain then struck with the ball as he got the wickets of the top 3 England batters. Lees bowled for 6, Crawley and Pope caught in the slips. Before Shami and Siraj struck with an wicket each of Root and Leach.

Jadeja slams his 3rd test ton โ€“

Earlier in the day Jadeja stuck his 3rd test ton and first away from India to continue his good form with the bat. Jadeja was out for 104 after having helped India reach over 370 on a pitch which is slowly showing signs of wear and tear.
