Suresh Raina caps his birthday with a screamer of a catch –

Deccan Gladiators took on Delhi bulls on Sunday 27th November. This was a special day for Raina as he was celebrating his 36th birthday. Chasing 141 to win, Tim David was giving the deccan bowlers the leather hunt.

Andre Russell bowing to David in the 9th over, had him slicing it up in the air. Raina was seen running back and tumbled as he completed the catch. Commentator, Danny Morrison wasn’t sure if Raina took the catch. The 36 year old took a while to get off the turf to send back David as the rest of his teammates joined him.

Tom Kohler Cadmore leads Deccan to 140-

Batting first, the gladiators lost the wicket of Jason Roy for 4 when he was stumped by fellow Englishman Tom Banton off Imad Wasim. It was the 122 run stand for the 2nd wicket between Cadmore and Pooran which swung the momentum. Cadmore was not on 82 off 33 balls with 8 fours and 6 sixes, while Pooran scored 34 off 17 balls. Andre Russell scored a quick 6 ball 10 with one six.

Tim David’s 48 goes futile as Bulls lose the game –

Tim David and Rilee Rossouw then added 79 runs for the 3rd wicket in 38 balls. The Australian scored 48 off 24 balls with 3 fours and 4 sixes. Rossouw fell in the last over for 28 off 15 balls as the asking rate proved beyond reach for the bulls.
