Irfan Pathan and many of the legends are one busy bunch with the amount of legends cricket going on. Fresh of a Road Safety World Series win for Indian Legends, left arm seaming all rounder, Irfan Pathan was back on the field. Irfan Pathan is the captain of the Bhilwara Kings. The Kings took on India Capitals in the Qualifier of the Legend League of Cricket 2022 season at Jodhpur.

Yusuf Pathan looks dismayed after being denied a wide –

Yusuf Pathan was part of the Indian legends team along with his brother Irfan. The siblings were back on the field playing for Bhilwara Kings. Left arm seamer Mitchell Johnson bowled a short ball and Yusuf ducked under it. The umpires though did not give it a wide and this annoyed Yusuf Pathan who seemed to have a word with the umpires.

Yusuf Pathan was soon dismissed, that’s when Kings skipper Irfan Pathan came in to bat. Pathan took a single of the final ball of the 19th over bowled by Johnson. The duo came face to face in a stand off as the things got heated up. The two umpires had to step in to diffuse the situation. Irfan was seen having a word with Dinesh Ramdin the India capitals wicket keeper as well.

Bhilwara Kings score massive 226 /5 –

Batting first, Morne Van Wyk was sent back by Johnson for just 4. William Porterfield and Shane Watson though added 116 for the 2nd wicket. The former Australian batter scored 65 off 39 balls before being dismissed. Rajat Bhatia got the wicket of Porterfield for 59 off 37 balls with 7 fours and 3 sixes. Yusuf Pathan flexed his muscles to score 48 off 24 balls with 3 fours and 4 sixes, while Rajesh Bishnoi scored 11 ball 36 with 5 fours and 2 sixes.

India capitals lose early wicket in huge chase –

Chasing 227 wasn’t going to be easy for the capitals with Gautam Gambhir falling for 1. Fidel Edwards got the wicket of Masakadza for 10, and also dismissing Dwayne Smith for 24. That’s when Ross Taylor and Dinesh Ramdin added 62 for the 4th wicket. The former West Indian skipper was out for 13.

Ross the Boss for India Capitals-

Taylor was joined by Nurse and the pair went after the Kings bowlers. Taylor scored 84 off 39 balls with 9 fours and 5 six. Nurse stayed not out on 60 off 28 with 5 fours and 4 sixes. Liam Plunkett swung his bat to score 20* off 9 balls with 1 four and 2 sixes. India Capitals won the game by 4 wickets with 3 balls to spare to reach the finals of the Legends League of Cricket 2022.
