India and South Africa on Thursday kicked off their international campaigns with a five match T20 series. The first game of the series was played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. South Africa displayed their might with the bat as they beat India by 7 wickets. The loss meant that India who had won 12 games in a row couldn’t create a world record 13th win. The match was a high scoring affair with 423 runs being scored in front of a large crowd.

Fights erupts in the stand –

While the two teams were exchanging blows with the bat and ball on the field of play, there was exchange of blows in the crowd. A cricket fan took to twitter to post the video of a fight between a man and few other people. The people in question were seen hitting each other. No one knows what caused the fight as four people could be seen going after one guy. The whole scuffle lasted for 20 seconds before the cops came to stop the melee that was seen in the stands which shocked the other fans.

2nd game on Sunday at Cuttack –

India walk into the 2nd game on Sunday to be played at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack 1-0 down. The home team batted well but their bowling and catching let them down. While the Indian team may not make too many changes, there could be a temptation to bring Arshdeep Singh into the team in place of Avesh Khan. The Indian death bowling looked bare in absence of Jasprit Bumrah who has been rested for the series. The rest of the team could be the same, as Umran Malik and his fans wait for his international debut.
