It was a roller coaster of a game between India and Bangladesh on Sunday. The match was played at the Sher -E- Bangla stadium at Mirpur. The match was dominated by the bowlers by both the sides.

Five wicket haul by Shakib Al Hasan had helped the home team bundle the Indian team out for a mere 186. The pitch showed a lot of demons during the course of the day as the pacers came into effect along with the seamers under the lights in the evening.

Virat Kohli has been in good form in recent times which was seen during the recent 2022 T20 World Cup. The former India skipper was batting on 9 when Liton Das took a stunning catch. The bowler to dismiss him was former Bangladesh skipper Shakib Al Hasan. The 34 year old was shocked as he had to make the slow walk back to the hut.

Kohli takes a stunning catch to get rid of Shakib –

Bangladesh were coasting at 95 for 3, still needing 92 runs from over 26 overs left to play. Washington Sundar bowled from round the wicket to Shakib who was looking dangerous on 29.

Sundar did Shakib with the flight in his ball as the former Bangladeshi skipper. Shakib tried to drive the ball only got get a leading edge. Much to the horror of the batter and the fans, Kohli dived to his right to grab a one handed stunning catch.

KL Rahul stands tall as Shakib bundles India out for 186 –

It was a disappointing day for India with the bat as they could only post 186 on the board. KL Rahul was the top scorer with 73 off 70 balls with 5 fours and 4 sixes. Only 4 Indian batters managed to score double figures.

Skipper Rohit Sharma scored 27, while Shreyas Iyer with 24 and Washington Sundar with 19 did hold on for a while. The star of the show with the ball was Shakib Al Hasan who picked 5/36 with the ball.
