Hearing the coach, Virat Kohli realized his stint was indeed over and said “Hooda aayega, toh main chala jaunga”. The video was posted on twitter was off 34 seconds but showed the commitment Kohli was showing to work on his batting and perhaps his shortcomings before the marquee event.

Virat Kohli wasn’t part of the warm up games –

India played two warm up games against Western Australia at the famed WACA grounds on Monday and Thursday. India had a mixed result, they won the 1st game before losing the 2nd. Virat Kohli wasn’t a part of both the games which had the fans confused about the reason.

Finding form in the nick of time –

Kohli during the last game of the Super 4 stage against Afghanistan during the 2022 Asia Cup broke his century drought. Kohli scored his 71st international ton to signal his comeback to form.
