Indian cricket over the past 4 decades and counting are continuing to grab eye-balls of the fans. The craze for the Indian cricket and its cricketers keep on growing. One of the biggest names of this generation is Virat Kohli. The former Indian captain is known to be one of the most fittest players in the world. Kohli is known for his rudimentary yet diet conscious ways, but there is one Indian player who’s food habits may leave u stunned.

‘He had Dal Rice with Ice-Cream’ –

Virat Kohli was recently part of a YouTube show called One 8 Commune. The former Indian captain spoke on variety of subjects. One of them being food habits. Kohli recalled being stunned by the habits of former India wicket keeper Wriddhiman ’aha's habits. Kohli said “If I've seen anyone try unique combination while eating then it is Wriddhiman Saha. I once noticed his plate, which had butter chicken, roti, salad and there was a rasgulla kept as well. I saw he took two three bites of roti and salad and gulped the entire rasgulla. So I asked him ‘Wriddhi what are you doing. He said this is how he usually eats, there were times when I saw him eat ice-cream with dal chawal. He eats them together, like two bites of rice and then ice-cream”

​​​​​​Virat Kohli’s keen eye on fitness –

Former India skipper Virat Kohli was very vocal about being fit and worked hard at it when he was the Indian skipper. Kohli had advocated for the Yo-Yo test or the beep test which was necessary for any player to be considered for selection to the Indian set up. Kohli, also posts videos of himself and his exercise routines on his Instagram page.

Indian team departs for Australia –

The Indian cricket team led by Rohit Sharma has departed for Australia to play the 2022 T20 World Cup. India begins with a few practice matches against Australian sides as tune up for the matches ahead. India will then play against defending champs Australia and runners up of 2021 edition New Zealand in the Warm Up Games.

India then kicks off its campaign against Pakistan on 23rd at MCG. They then play the 2nd placed team from Group A off the qualifiers. India then play South Africa followed by Bangladesh before finishing the group phase with the game against top placed team of Group B in the qualifiers.
