India begins its hectic international season kicks off in 24 hours as they begin a month long sojourn of West Indies. India, will first play the two match test series with the game starting on Wednesday. Post the two match test series, there will be a three match ODI series before playing the five match T20 series. The Indian selectors announced the T20 team which will be led by Hardik Pandya. One player who missed out selection for the five match T20 series is Rinku Singh.

Left hander posts a timely reminder to selectors –

Rinku Singh made headlines with his whirlwind batting during the TATA IPL 2023 season. The left hander missed out on selection for the tour of West Indies for the T20 series. The 25 year old has now come out and put out a video of himself in a subtle hint to the national selection committee.

Rinku Singh was part of the Central Zone which played the Duleep Trophy game against East Zone. Rinku Singh took to Instagram to post a short video of himself batting to score 38 off 58 balls. Rinku hit 6 fours before falling to the Bengal and RCB duo of Shahbaz Ahmed and Akash Deep.

Rinku likely to be part of Ireland series and Asian Games –

While the 25 year old left hander is not part of the West Indies tour, it is believed the selectors could send him to Ireland. The Indian team is set to play three T20 matches in Ireland most likely under the captaincy of Hardik Pandya. There is also talks of sending Rinku SIngh to China for the 2023 Asian Games under Shikhar Dhawan.

2023 a season to remember –

TATA IPL 2023 was a season to remember for the Kolkata Knight Riders latest sensation. Rinku, scored over 400 runs during the season and was perhaps one of the standout batters. Rinku, hit five sixes of five balls to win a game against Gujarat Titans which shot him into limelight. The fans can only hope Rinku can keep his form going and get an India cap soon.
