IPL 2023: Mitchell McClenaghan shuts up an RCB fan on Twitter

TATA IPL 2023 has reached its half way stage of the tournament as the games have flown by. The game on Tuesday between Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans will mark the official half way stage of the tournament. With the table now taking shape, there is widespread anticipation to know the final four. One of the teams trying to make the final four is Royal Challengers Bangalore and its massive fan base would finally love the trophy at the Chinnaswamy stadium.

Mitchell McClenaghan spent a lot of years with the Mumbai Indians and won a few titles with the team. The former Kiwi quick has always spoken about his admiration for the men in blue and gold. McClenaghan was recently active on social media and was taking a few questions from fans.

McClenaghan names his favorite RCB stars –

Former New Zealand and Mumbai Indians pacer, Mitchell McClenaghan, was recently seen to be active on Twitter. The former pacer named Glenn Maxwell and Faf Du Plessis as his favorite stars from the Bangalore outfit.

Rude fan gets schooled by the former Kiwi star –

Seeing that the former Kiwi pacer did not name Virat Kohli in his favorites, one RCB fan took exception. The fan took to Twitter and wrote “we RCBIANS don’t want fans like you Mitch” . Not to be outdone, McClenaghan wrote back to the fan “Don’t Like Trophies?


Hazlewood set for a comeback –

Speaking about the Bangalore based unit, Australian pacer Josh Hazlewood is set to make a comeback to the side. As per reports, the 32 year old is set to replace David Willey and give a massive boost to the chances of RCB. Hazlewood has missed a lot of time out on the bench ever since his injury for Australia during their home season.

Rematch against Kolkata –

With the season now heading into the 2nd half, Bangalore are set to host Kolkata Knight Riders in the game on Wednesday. The Bangalore based outfit had lost their previous encounter by massive 81 runs. RCB will hope the trio of Kohli, Faf Du Plessis and Maxwell come to the fore and help them reach the play off stages.
