Chennai Super Kings are one of the most loved teams in the history of the TATA Indian Premier League. Called the Men In Yellow, under the captaincy of MS Dhoni, CSK have won the title 4 times. Ravindra Jadeja is one of the best all round cricketers in the world. The 34 year old though did not have a season to remember in 2022, when he was given the captaincy and later lost it due to poor team performance. Jadeja in fact was downcast about it and made it no secret on social media.

Jadeja has been in good form with the ball this season for Chennai, but it is with the bat he hasn’t been doing much. One fan by the name Dr. Rajkumar tweeted “Jaddu saying this with a smile but lot of pain inside. Believe me its trauma! Imagine your own team spectators not supporting you and waiting for your wicket! Still criticizing you even winning 3 man of the matches! @imjadeja you are prince of @ChennaiIPL”. The fans were curious to see the tweet and what made it even more curious was that Ravindra Jadeja had liked the tweet.

Jadeja bemoans CSK fans response at the end of the game –
Ravindra Jadeja played a huge part in Chennai’s 27 run win over Delhi Capitals on Wednesday. Jadeja scored 21 with the bat and picked 1/19 from his 4 overs and was named the man of the match.
At the end of the game, while speaking in the post game interaction, Jadeja said “if I come to bat early they all chant ‘Mahi.. Mahi’ and pray to see MS Dhoni , they all wait for me to get out. I keep hearing Mahi bhai’s chants, if I bat higher then the crowd will wait for me to get out. As long as the team wins am happy”
With speculation around the future of MS Dhoni with this likely to be his last IPL, the fans across the country are showing their love for the former Indian captain. Jadeja though has been in terrific form and has been playing a key role in CSK’s amazing campaign this year.
