IPL 2023: Twitter reacts to Virat Kohli and Saurav Ganguly finally crossing paths

Royal Challengers Bangalore won the 20th game of the TATA Indian Premier League season. The game against Delhi Capitals saw Faf Du Plessis and his men won their 2nd game of the season after suffering two back to back losses in their last two games. The loss on Saturday was the 5th in a row for David Warner and his side as they are now bottom of the table and nearly out of the tournament.

Virat Kohli’s death stare to Delhi and Sourav Ganguly –

It is no secret that Delhi Capitals mentor Sourav Ganguly and Virat Kohli do not see to eye. But on Saturday they did and that too in literal terms. The incident happened in the 18th over of the Delhi innings with Harshal Patel bowling to Aman Khan.

The Mumbai all rounder went for a huge hit only to offer a easy catch to Kohli at the boundary. The former India skipper took the catch and turned back to the Delhi dugout and stared at Saurav Ganguly.

Kohli’s doesn’t shake hands with Dada –

After the win over Delhi Capitals, the former Indian skipper Kohli was seen shaking hands with everyone except Ganguly. It was seen Kohli just moved past Ganguly and did not even see the former BCCI chief. Ricky Ponting made Kohli turn around and had a few words with him.

Delhi Capitals lose their 5th game –

Chasing 175 to win, Delhi Capitals were 2 runs for 3 wickets as Prithvi Shaw and Mitchell Marsh fell for ducks. Yash Dhull was out cheaply as the Bangalore bowlers were on fire. David Warner scored 19 before he fell to Vijaykumar. The top scorer for Delhi was local boy Manish Pandey who scored 50. Anrich Nortje with 23 not out was the 2nd highest scorer of the innings.
