The 41 year old hasn’t revealed his plans with rumors swirling this could be his last season in IPL. The game on Sunday evening against Kolkata Knight Riders will be important because a win for Chennai will guarantee them a place in the playoffs.

MS Dhoni has been over period of time this season has been plagued by an injury to his knee. There were rumors on his fitness even before the season began, but Dhoni has braved it and played the season. One fan took to Twitter to post a short video of Dhoni practicing at Chepauk and batting. During the course of the short video, one could see that MS Dhoni went to take a single and was nearly limping and running between the wickets.
The fan posted an old picture of MS Dhoni who was known for his quick running between the wickets. The twitter with the name Dhoni Era posted the picture with the speed that Dhoni had back in his heydays to run between the wickets.

Top two place in question for Chennai –
Chennai Super Kings are currently 2nd in the table behind Gujarat Titans and a win on Sunday will keep them 2nd in the table. With Gujarat nearly qualified, a win for Chennai will see them join Gujarat in the final phase of the tournament.
Big game for Kolkata Knight Riders –
After the complete annihilation at the hands of Rajasthan Royals at home, Nitish Rana and his men will hope for a better result. The game on Sunday is their last chance to keep their hopes alive to stay in the tournament. Even a win wont guarantee KKR a play off places as they have to depend on other results going their way.
