Indian Premier League has always witnessed some new stars being created. Indian and international players both have made names for themselves in the 15 year history of the league. While many international players, aspire to play in the league, the rules of the tournament is such that only 4 can play. Each of the ten teams are stacked with some huge names and some of the top international players are part of each of the teams.
The story so far –
Chennai Super Kings have always been blessed with some of the big name players. This year the Chennai based team possess perhaps one of the biggest names in the form, of Ben Stokes. With so much international flavor in the team, Mitchell Santner has found playing time tough to come by.
Santner gives a cool and composed reply to Simon Doull –
Its been a few games since Kiwi spinner Mitchell Santner has got a game for Chennai in the IPL. During the last game versus KKR, the Chennai left arm spinner was in conversation with Simon Doull.
The Kiwi player turned commentator after having a few words with Santner said “enjoy the night and carry the drinks well”. One would expect other players to react with discomfort on their face. Santner just said with a while smile on his face “I’ll Try”
