Games are coming quick and fast in the 2023 season of TATA IPL. The game on Friday saw Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad lock horns. The match was played at the Chepauk stadium. MS Dhoni and his men had beaten Royal Challengers Bangalore in ab high scoring contest in their previous game. Hyderabad, meanwhile had lost to Mumbai at their home ground to lose their 2nd game in a row.

MS Dhoni’s wins hearts as video emerges –

Former Indian captain MS Dhoni is known to be down to earth and polite. He has the reputation to make everyone feel comfortable. Post the game at Chennai on Friday, a video emerged which has made the fans heart melt.

Hyderabad bowler, T Natarajan wasn’t part of the 11 or an impact substitute. The 32 year old was holding his daughter and trying to get her to shake hands with Dhoni. The little one though was shy as the Chennai captain had a smile on his face. Natarajan and his wife also stood with Dhoni as he clicked a picture with the 41 year old.


Bad batting and Jadeja restrict Hyderabad to 134 –

Put into bat first, Hyderabad saw Abhishek Sharma and Harry Brook open the batting. Agarwal was pushed down the order on the back of his poor form. Brook scored 18 off 13 before being caught by Gaikwad off Akash Singh. Number 3, Tripathi scored 21 as he added 36 runs for the 2nd wicket with Sharma.

Jadeja then struck thrice when he first had Abhishek Sharma for 34, which was the top score for SRH. Jadeja then had Rahul Tripathi caught by Akash Singh before getting Agarwal out stumped for 2. Klassen and Jansen both scored 17 as Hyderabad reached 134 from their 20 overs.

Conway leads the way for Chennai Super Kings

Chasing 135 to win, Chennai got off to a rapid start with Gaikwad and Conway adding 87 runs in just 11 over. Gaikwad was out for 35 when he was run out in an unlucky manner. Rayudu and Rahane both scored 9 before Moeen Ali came out to join Conway as the 4 time champs won with 8 balls to spare. Devon Conway scored 77 not out from 57 balls with 12 fours and a six as Chennai climbed to 3rd in the table.
