TATA Indian Premier League season has reached its final few weeks of the tournament. For the first time in the history of TATA IPL we have 9 teams vying for the places in the play-offs. Gujarat Titans have all but qualified for the play- off stages with the massive win over Lucknow Super Giants.
The story so far –
Chennai Super Kings moved up the table after their comfortable win over Mumbai Indians on Saturday afternoon. In the other game on Saturday, Delhi Capitals swept aside a hapless looking Bangalore bowling unit to register an easy win to make the tournament even more open.
MS Dhoni’s words about Virat Kohli –
Chennai Super Kings players were in upbeat mode after beating Mumbai for the 2nd time this season. Post the game there is a video doing the rounds, where MS Dhoni can be seen talking to his players. The short clip doing the rounds, one can clearly hear the CSK captain say “Virat Doesn’t Play The 1st ball Like This. It is always there”

After the win against Mumbai on Saturday, the Chennai Super Kings team has moved into 2nd place in the table. The 4 time champs have 11 points from 11 games and still have 3 games in hand. Chennai play Delhi Capitals, home and away as well as playing Kolkata Knight Riders at home.
Crunch match for Bangalore –
Royal Challengers Bangalore will be playing Mumbai Indians on Tuesday night at the Wankhede Stadium. The last time the two teams met was at Bangalore as the home team romped home to an easy win. Win for either side will get them closer to the play off places with 3 more games in hand.
