It has been a season to remember for 39 year old former South African skipper Faf DU Plessis. In the 11 game he has played so far, the right hander has scored 576 runs with an average of 57,6. On Tuesday he scored a 41 ball 65 against Mumbai Indians in a losing effort

The left hander from Rajasthan Royals has played 11 games and scored 477 runs with an average of 43. His biggest moment came when he scored 124 off 62 balls versus Mumbai Indians in a losing cause.

Mohammad Shami carries his red ball form to IPL –

32 year old Indian pacer, Mohammad Shami has been in sizzling form this IPL. Shami, has picked 19 wickets in 11 games with a four wicket haul which came against Delhi. The form of Shami has been crucial for Gujarat Titans and his wicket taking is particularly crucial for India with so much cricket ahead.

Piyush Chawla turns back the clock –

Forgotten Indian leg spinner Piyush Chawla was the last pick by Mumbai Indians during the auctions late last year. The 34 year old though has been Rohit Sharma’s most trusted aid with 17 wickets from 11 games this season. Mumbai’s bowling woes would have been much worse if Chawla wasn’t part of the team. The veteran leg spinner for his part has given his team crucial wickets when the match seemed like slipping away.
