The first test match between India and Australia might have been a damp squib for one set of fans and a statement of intent for the others. The match which got over in two and half days saw the Australian team storm to a eight wicket win over an Indian team short of confidence and ideas after being bowled out for 36. The Australians won the game to take a 1-0 lead in the series, while it was all doom and gloom in the Indian side, the Australians were happy about the win but one of the biggest stories was the story former Australian player Kerry O Keeffe told Shane Warne which for the 708 wicket holder to lose it on camera and have a huge laugh is making the rounds on social media and we must say the story is as funny as any Kerry O Keefe story signed off by his patented laughter.
Kerry O Keeffe finally finds his wife during Coronavirus
The funny interaction rolled off when presenter Mark Howard prodded to enlighten Shane Warne with his story about “the lady you met at home incident.” The ever funny O Keeffe began and said this “Oh, Yeah. When we had to start spending more time at home, I noticed this woman sitting in my lounge room.” Shane Warne seemed all attentive to where this story was going till O Keeffe continued “ Yeah, because I was in and out of the house with my FOX Cricket commentary duties, and with COVID I started to talk to her.” By this time both Howard and Warne were looking at each other at what was coming next
Kerry O Keeffe doesn’t disappoint and adds his laughter for good measure
With Warne confused about where the story was heading Kerry O Keeffe was quick to add “And she told me she was my wife! And we are getting on well! There is a plus to COVID …. I met my missus!”
Shane Warne and Mark Howard totally lost the plot at the light-hearted way Kerry O Keeffe told this story which made many people crack up.
