Mohammad Siraj reports to BCCI about possible unlawful approach

TATA IPL 2023 has seen 25 games being played. As we move into the half way stage of the tournament, we are going to witness some amazing cricket action on the field. Apart from Delhi Capitals rest of the teams have started to find their form. The game on Wednesday will see table toppers Rajasthan Royals take on Lucknow Super Giants. The game will be played at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium in Jaipur after a period of 4 years.

Indian Premier league over the years hasn't seen the ugly head of match fixing raise its head. The league has seen the worst of its times just a decade ago in 2013. Three Rajasthan Royals players, Sreesanth, Ajit Chandilla and Ankeet Chavan were implicated for spot fixing. 
Mohammad Siraj reports approach - 
Indian and Royal Challengers Bangalore seamer, Mohammad Siraj has been in good form with the ball. The 29 year has been in some amazing wicket taking form with the white ball. Mohammad Siraj recently approached the BCCI and it's Anti Corruption Unit. The hyderbad born fast bowler said that he was being approached for inside information about the game.
Suspect nabbed by the cops - 
Speaking to PTI, a source from the BCCI said "It wasn’t a bookie who approached Mohammed Siraj. It is a driver from Hyderabad who is addicted to betting on matches. He had lost huge money and approached Siraj for inside information. Siraj reported the approach immediately. The law enforcement authorities have nabbed the man. More details are being awaited"
Royal challengers Bangalore looking to bounce back 
After their close loss to Chennai Super Kings on Monday, Royal Challengers Bangalore will look to bounce back. Faf Du Plessis and his side travel to Punjab to play the Punjab Kings at Mohali. It is an afternoon game as Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Capitals in the evening game
