Captain Sir Thomas Moore or Sir Captain Tom was born in Yorkshire on April 30, 1920 he was a decorated officer in the British army, Sir Captain Tom started a charity walk with the assistance of a walking frame before he could turn 100 years last April. This charity walk was going to be done in his home when he walked the lengths of his garden. He managed to raise 30 million pounds in charity for the NHS which was fighting tooth and nail against the deadly Coronavirus Pandemic. Sir Captain Tom passed away on Tuesday aged 100 due to the C OVID-19 complications as many famous celebrities from various walks of life came out to mourn this amazing soul’s passing.
