Suryakumar Yadav is on cloud nine after he was included in the Indian squad for the five-game T20 series against England which will be played at Ahmedabad post the completion of the four-match test series between India and England. The 30-year-old has finally made it to the Indians squad after years of toiling in the domestic circuit and piling on the runs for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League including playing a rule in winning two back-to-back titles for the men in blue and gold.

The moment the name Suryakumar Yadav was penciled into the Indian Squad for the five games T20 series versus England, the family and fans of the talented Mumbai batsman erupted with joy at the prospect of seeing the 30-year-old don the Indian jersey. The Mumbaikar took to social media giants Instagram to post a story about his wife welcoming the news with a special cake and captioned it by saying “Biwi. Spoiling Me” the call up is seen as long overdue for the Mumbaikar. Suryakumar Yadav who came back to Mumbai Indians after spending four years with KKR has been piling on the runs for Mumbai Indians and has won two back-to-back IPL titles in 2019 and 2020. His exclusion from the Australia tour shocked many as many felt the young Mumbaikar was hard done by with this decision.
Ishan Kishan and Rahul Tewatia to get a call-up
Mumbai Indians teammate Ishan Kishan and Rajasthan Royal’s young leg-spinning all-rounder too were given a call up to the Indian team for the series against England. Ishan Kishan has been in blistering form with the bat post the IPL and has been stacking up some huge scores while Rahul Tewatia impressed one and all with his batting lower down the order for RR during the last season of the IPL. The three new recruits will look to make an instant impression as they will want to be part of the Indian team for the all-important World T20 later this year to be held in India.
