SA20 league is reaching the final stages of league phase tournament. Mumbai Indians Cape Town became the 1st team to be knocked out of the tournament. The match on Sunday saw Pretoria Capitals and Durban Super Giants take on each other at Centurion. The match saw Durban Super Giants flex their muscles as they ran riot over Pretoria Capitals.

Heinrich Klassen’s assault leaves Pretoria speechless –

The game on Sunday was a must win for Durban Super Giants. The big match feel got the best out of Heinrich Klassen. The right hander was in decent nick during the recent ODI series against England. On Sunday, he took little time to get going.

Klassen scored a superlative century with his unbeaten 104 coming off 44 balls. His knock contained 10 fours and 6 sixes. Klassen got to his three figure mark in 43 balls to entertain the huge turnout of fans who had come to witness the game.

Durban score huge 254 on the board –

Speaking about the game, the only thing that went in Capitals favour was the toss as they put Super Giants into bat. Openers, Quinton De Kock scored 43 off 24 balls, while Ben Mcdermott scored 41 off 20 balls. The 1st wicket stand was worth 76 which came in just 6.1 overs.

David Willey and Mulder scored 1 and 9 respectively. The finishing touches to the brutal assault was given by Breetzke who scored 46* off 21 balls with 5 fours and 3 sixes. Durban scored a massive 254 from their 20 overs against a hapless looking Capitals bowling attack.  

Pretoria bowled out for 103 to hand Durban a huge win –

Chasing 255 to win, the Capitals were never in the hunt as number 9 batter Ethan Bosch was the top scorer with 23. Junior Dala was the lead wicket taker with 3/33 as Mulder and Pretorious took 2 wickets each. Durban ran out winners by a huge 151 run margin to end their league phase of the tournament.
