Watch! Ishan Kishan caught abusing after getting frustrated by Jomel Warrican

Indian cricket team made a storming start to their 2023-25 World Test Championships. Rohit Sharma, led his team to a win by an innings and 141 runs to take 1-0 lead. The game at Dominica finished late on day three as India dominated the hosts. The focus will now move to Trinidad and Tobago with the final test match beginning on Thursday. This will be followed by the three match ODI series before the two teams play 5 match T20 series.

Jomel Warrican’s batting stance frustrates Ishan Kishan –

The home team were 108-9 with Kemar Roach giving Ashwin his 6th wicket with 8 balls to go in the day. This got Jomel Warrican to the crease who smashed 18 off 18 balls with 3 fours. The West Indian number 11 was blocking all his 3 stumps which frustrated Ishan Kishan. The Indian wicket keeper was heard swearing on the stump mic and said “Maa C**d diya meri keeping ki, saamne hee aayi jaa rha hai”

Ishan Kishan’s plea to the bowler –

India decided to take the extra half hour as the home team were 9 wickets down. The two bowlers Jadeja and Ashwin were bowling from both the ends. Ishan Kishan was heard telling Jadeja not to rely on him for DRS. Kishan could be heard saying ““Bhaiya merese mt puchna DRS ka yeh mere samne hee aaya jaa rha hai, mai khada hoke kr rha hoon keeping isko”

Ashwin storms back to form –

36 year old off spinner Ravichandran Ashwin picked 12 wickets in the game to win the game for his team. Ashwin, was controversially benched for the World Test Championships final. The veteran Indian spinner picked 5 wickets in the 1st innings, before picking 7/71 in the 2nd innings.

The 12 wicket haul meant that Ashwin now has 709 international wickets going past Harbhajan Singh who had 707. The Indian off spinner has the joint most 10 wicket hauls for India along with Anil Kumble. Ashwin also picked his 6th five wicket haul which in the India vs West Indies test the most for any Indian bowler.
