In exact 7 days the cricketing world and the Indian fans will witness the 2023 season of TATA IPL. The first game of the season is to be played between Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings. Narendra Modi Stadium at Ahmedabad will witness the blockbuster clash between the two teams next Friday on March 31st, 2023.

MS Dhoni is about to embark on his last season of TATA IPL as a player. The 41 year old will have the eyes on him as the fans will expect some vintage Dhoni magic. Chennai Super Kings had a terrible 2022 season, as they finished 9th in the table just above Mumbai Indians with 8 points.

Chennai Super Kings players are getting ready for the season ahead. The 4 time champions have already sweating it out in the nets with just a week to go for the big game against defending champions Gujarat Titans. Chennai Super Kings took to social media and posted a short clip on Instagram.

41 year old MS Dhoni was seen bowling from a short run up to MS Dhoni the batter. CSK media team had edited the video in such a way that MSD was seen bowling to himself and getting smashed for a huge six. The footage ended with a huge smile from the face of the CSK skipper.

Mukesh Chaudhary doubtful for TATA IPL 2023 –

In yet another injury related news, left arm seam bowler Mukesh Chaudhary is a doubtful starter for CSK. The left arm pacer had a breakout 2022 season which was also his debut year. Mohsin Khan, the tall left arm quick for Lucknow Super Giants is also a doubtful starter for the TATA IPL 2023 season.

Shane Watson wants MSD to continue playing for few more years –

With the news floating that this may be the last season for MSD, former CSK teammate Shane Watson has spoken out. Watson who played a key role in 2018 title win and the run to the 2019 finals, wants Dhoni to play on for atleasy 3-4 years more.

Speaking to the media, Watson said “I heard that this is the last IPL of MS Dhoni but I don’t think. MS Dhoni can continue to play for the next three to four years. He is still very fit and batting and wicket-keeping really well. His leadership is something that is as good as his game. His fitness and mind-reading of the game make him a good leader. His skills on the ground are awesome. He is one of the main reasons that CSK is successful.”
