It was an amazing start as the Indian team and its fans were happy on Saturday. India won the 1st test Nagpur before tea on the 3rd day. India took a 1-0 lead in the series for the Border Gavaskar Trophy by winning the series by and innings and 132 runs. Apart from 26* by Steve Smith none of the batters could do anything substantial. Ravi Ashwin picked 5/47 as he picked his 31st five wicket haul. The feat comes just 2 days after he became the 2nd fastest bowler to reach 450 test wickets.

Jadeja and Kohli seen dancing to song from Pathan –

The Indian team was in a happy mood as they took in the win in the 1st test. The match got over as they finished of the Australian challenge just minutes before tea. Rohit Sharma and his men walked off the field to massive applause. During the end of the game, Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja decided to delight the crowd with their dancing to a song from the movie “Pathan”. This got a huge cheer from the crowd as they egged on the two Indian stars.


Ashwin spins Australia to a win –

India were all out for 400 as they took a huge lead of 223 runs in the 1st innings. Cricket experts were wondering how the visitors would perform in the 2nd innings. The pitch had started taking turn and was doing tricks.

Ashwin began the slide when he had Usman Khawaja caught at slip by Kohli. It was the turn of Warner next, as Ashwin had the left hander caught in front of the wicket. Ashwin then got the wickets of Renshaw, Handscomb and Carey as Australia slid to 64/6 to pick his 31st fifer in test cricket.

Jadeja, Shami and Axar play second fiddle –

Ravindra Jadeja got Labuschagne LBW when he was caught plumb in front of his stumps. Jadeja also got the wickets of Pat Cummins to take his match total to 7 wickets. Shami then got into the act when he dismissed Nathan Lyon as he saw his leg stump flying and Scott Boland out LBW to get the last wicket of the game. Axar Patel who scored 84 with the bat got the wicket of Murphy caught by Rohit Sharma for 2.
