Former Pakistani speedster Shoaib Akhtar has turned a TV host. The former player who still holds the record for the worlds fastest ball is hosting a show called โ€œShoaib Akhtar Showโ€. This is the OTT debut for the man they call Rawalpindi Express which made his debut on a OTT platform called UrduFlix. The format of the show is a simple chat show filled with fun moments. One moment though will forever stay in the infamy of many and for a long time.

Nida Yasirโ€™s answer stumps everyone โ€“

Shoaib Akhtar recently was able to host Nida Yasir, who is a well known TV anchor. During the course of the show, Akhtar asked Nida Yasir โ€œWhich year did Pakistan win the 1992 world cupโ€. The TV anchor looked Perplexed and said โ€œ2006โ€. This had everyone shocked, till Nida Yasir was helped by her fellow guest, who prompted the right answer.

Shoaib Akhtar bowls another google which leaves Nida Yasir even more puzzled-

Once Rawalpindi express knew his guest knew the answer, former fast bowler changed his question. Akhtar asked Nida Yasir โ€œwhich year did Pakistan win the 2009 T20 World Cupโ€. To which Nida quickly answered with 1992โ€. This had everyone shocked and there was a flood of jokes being posted at her expense.

Pakistani stars busy with PSL โ€“

Meanwhile the 2023 season of Pakistan Super League began on Monday. The first game of the season saw Lahore beat Multan by 1 run. Lahore scored 174 on the board thanks to 66 by Fakhar Zaman. Despite the 75 by Mohammad Rizwan, Lahore bowlers held their own to take the game in a last ball thriller.

In the wnd game of the season, Peshawar beat Karachi by 2 runs on Tuesday. Peshwar scored 199 thanks to 92 by K. Cadmore and 68 by skipper Babar Azam who shifted base from Karachi. Imad Wasim with 80* and 52 by Shoaib Malik gave Peshawar a good fight but eventually lost the game by 2 runs.
