It's common for spectators to spot the players watching the ball and missing at the moment. It's the game of cricket and cricket is not just a physical game but also a game of mindset and pursuit. One such awful episode fans witnessed in the last game between Mumbai Indians (MI) vs Royal Challengers Bangalore(RCB). Richa Ghosh was spotted watching the ball and that mistake of Richa cost RCB losing Ellyse Perry.

The story as happened -

In the 4th game of the Women's premier league (WPL) between Mumbai Indians (MI) vs Royal Challengers Banglore ( RCB) at Brabourne Stadium. Mumbai beats Bangalore by 9 wickets. The entire match was dominated by Mumbai. Talking about the first innings. In the beginning, the Challengers turned up for a fight to put on a good opening stand. But from the middle of the innings , they started to fall off and lost 5 wickets in 10 overs.

The mistake of Richa Ghosh

Richa was facing despair in the 4th game of the Women's Premier League. But despite that, she was mistaken badly and it leaves Banglore under pressure. In the 9th over of the inning, misinterpretation took place between Richa Ghosh and Ellyse Perry. Saika Ishaque was bowling to Ellyse, the delivery was bowled widish outside off stump as the ball was played to  point. Perry thought to go for a single meanwhile Richa was snapped watching the ball and missing the moment. In that moment Nat Sciver Brunt threw the ball and Perry was already far from the crease. Humaira Kazi threw the ball towards the keeper. And that direct hit made Ellyse Perry go back to Pavilion. She made 13 off 7 balls. And Richa's misconception fetched the challengers in a difficult situation.

Mumbai's magnificent win -

After the fall down of Challengers on the score of 155 runs. Mumbai had to chase it. As Mumbai was already shown its spirit in the 1st innings through their bowling unit. Now it was time for the batters to shine bright and they did. Hayley Matthew is the storm. She was magnificent in her game. Matthew managed 77 runs off 13 balls with her opening partner Yastika Bhatia who scored 23 runs off 19 balls and got out. After her stunning run out Sciver Brunt scored 55 runs off 29 balls. And this new dominant duo of Matthew and Sciver made Mumbai register another magnificent win in this inaugural season of the Women's premier league (WPL).
