WPL 2023: Twitter reacts as Heather Knight leaves Meg Lanning stunned.

The beauty of T20 leagues is that we can relive the moments again. Either it's of rivalries or Partnerships. And one such moment of Rivalry fans experienced in today's game of Women's premier league WPL. Yes, the Ashes memories reflect again in the game between Delhi Capitals (DC) vs Royal Challengers Banglore (RCB) as Heather Knight leaves Meg Lanning stunned. 

The story so far - 

Women's premier league WPL has its 2nd Match on 5th March between Delhi Capitals (DC) vs Royal challengers Bangalore(RCB)  at Brabourne Stadium Mumbai.  Meg Lanning is leading DC whereas Smriti Mandhana leading RCB. Smriti Mandhana won the toss and choose to field first. Meg Lanning and Shefali Verma open the batting for the Delhi team.


Shefali started hitting big shots and Lanning seemed happy to be supporting her to the fullest. Meg Lanning scored 72 runs and Shefali Verma scored 84 runs. Their partnership seems to be unbreakable as it reaches 162 runs. This unstoppable duo blew away the RCB's bowlers. 

This is how Heather knight leaves Meg Lanning stunned-

When Heather Knight was called upon to bowl the 15th over of the innings . Meg Lanning was facing her. Almost Immediately, Heather Knight did the trick as the ball took insane amount of turn and had Meg Lanning rooted to the spot. She left Meg Lanning in a difficult situation as he ball hit the middle stump and Meg Lanning was out bowled . There was huge relief on the faces of the RCB players as Heather Knight got the wicket of the the dangerous-looking player Meg Lanning.

Knight creates the magic in a single over- 
If the wicket of Meg Lanning wasn’t enough, there was more joy in the same over. A few balls later, Shafali Varma who was poised to score the first ton in WPL 2023 was out for 84. Heather Knight was flanked by other RCB players for getting 2 huge wickets in the same over But it was Heather Knight who took both powerful wickets in a single over.
