Riyan Parag deletes his controversial tweet post the loss to Punjab Kings

Monday saw Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings play out an exciting encounter at Mumbai with Rajasthan Royals falling short by a heartbreaking four runs despite the stellar efforts of Sanju Samson who scored 119 runs. The high scoring encounter wasn’t without drama as the match kept the fans and cricketing experts on tenterhooks till the last ball of the game. Youngster Riyan Parag was downcast after the game and he posted a tweet which was later taken down which caught the fans on social media and set about tongues wagging.

Riyan Parag is a name that many fans and cricketing experts have earmarked as the future of the Indian Cricket team as the 19 year old is not only an aggressive batsman but also has the ability to roll his arm over during the course of the game. Riyan Parag on Monday showed his talents with the bat as he scored a quick fire 25 from 11 balls with 1 four and 3 huge sixes and in the process added 52 quick runs with Captain Sanju Samson before Parag was dismissed by Mohammad Shami caught behind by KL Rahul. Post the game Parag took to twitter and was critical of himself and wrote “I’M SH**” but this post was taken down in a few hours.

Twitter reacts to Riyan Parag’s bowling talents

Parag was tossed the ball by Sanju Samson and he bowled only one over but it made headlines as the 19 year old bowled a low round arm ball just like India international Kedar Jadhav which even left Chris Gayle surprised. Parag though made a telling contribution with the ball as he had Gayle caught by Ben Stokes to give the RR team a huge wicket. Many fans took to twitter and poured their heart out to admire the talents of Riyan Parag and also made note of the fact that his celebration with the Bihu was the highlight of the night.
