David Warner has had a mixed bag of an IPL both as skipper and batsman. The left-hander was coming into the IPL after a poor white ball tour of England. The New South Welshman has been the orange cap winner in the tournament a record three times and a lot rides on his shoulders as far as SRH is concerned. While he has played a few important knocks for the orange army, Warner has not been at his fluent best.
His opening partner Jonny Bairstow has been far more devastating this season. The duo are central to the success of SRH who possess a brittle middle order. Some experts even feel that it’s the weak middle order that forces Warner to take the back seat, especially as Bairstow prefers to tee off right from the onset. He is known to be quite a prankster and his sense of humour was at full display after their last game. On Saturday he posted an embarrassing video of himself farting during a live interview.
